As per Seychelles traffic regulations, our insurance company requires a minimum driving age of 21 years and that your driving licence has been first issued at least 1 year agoDriving licence should be written in Latin letters.

A valid non-expired National driving license is enough to drive upto 3 months in Seychelles.

Those holding a license issued in a Non-Latin-Letter Alphabet (Countries Like China, Korea, Russia etc) must also present a valid International Drivers Permit.

The driving license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 12 months before the date of the commencement of the rental.

40km/h — Built-up areas
60km/h —  Open roads outside of the town
80km/h —  Highway between Victoria & Airport

40km/h — Around the Island.

  • The permitted blood alcohol level in Seychelles is 0.08%. Our insurance policy requires you to be 100 % alcohol free.
  • Drivers and front-seat passengers are mandatory to wear seatbelts.
  • Please do not leave valuables visible in cars.
  • There are no sidewalks, so keep your eyes open for pedestrians.
